What was it that allowed Doug Coombs to reinvent the limits of adventure skiing and enliven all that knew him? Robert Cocuzzo spent years retracing Coombs’ steps in search of answers to this question while writing “Tracking The Wild Coomba: The Life of Legendary Skier Doug Coombs”. We talked with him about what he learned in the process and if it’s really possible to “know” a person you haven’t met.

He’ll be speaking on Saturday, September 24th at 4pm in the Center for the Arts as part of Contour as well as at Stio on Tuesday, September 27th at 6pm.
