Internationally-recognized modern dance company David Dorfman Dance brought two radically humanistic works to Dancers’ Workshop here in Jackson Hole. We talked with David himself as well as dancers Kendra Portier and Simon Thomas-Train about the mission “to get the whole world to dance”, the theme of finding joy within increasingly dismal social and political circumstances, the intersection between athlete and artist, and what they hope audiences take with them. Their final performance, titled “Come and Back Again” is on Saturday, July 23rd.
